One of the simplest ways you can make your home healthier is by decorating it with plants. Adding some greenery to your living space can make a huge difference to your quality of life. Spider plant

Spider plants are a snap to take care of and do more than just look pretty. They can help clean the air in your home by removing harmful pollutants like formaldehyde and benzene. They even produce oxygen and are safe for homes with pets!

Snake plant

Similar to the spider plant, the snake plant does not require too much attention, and it can get rid of harmful substances in the air that you breathe. Plus, it can grow well in low light conditions, making it a great choice for homes with limited natural light.

Peace lily

The peace lily is a beautiful plant with soft, white flowers that add beauty to any space. It is particularly great at removing ammonia from the air, making it a very useful air purifier. However, it does have a bit more humidity in its environment, so it may not be ideal for all living spaces.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is so much more than just its soothing gel to put on burns. The plant itself is also great at cleaning the air, removing the harmful aerosolized pollutants found in cleaning products in particular. It does need to be placed in an area that receives decent sunlight, but otherwise, it is very low-maintenance.

Golden pothos

If you're new to plant parenting, don't worry—the golden pothos plant is a great starter plant. It just needs to be watered once every week or two, and it can handle all sorts of conditions. But the best part? It's a trailing plant, which means it will add some visual appeal to any room in your house.
